Upon course completion, students earn a certificate from the Disaster Medicine Institute. The Fundamentals of Disaster Medicine course also serves as a preparation pathway for the International Board of Disaster Medicine (IBODM) certification exam, supporting learners’ goals for professional certification in Disaster Medicine. Upon completion of the Fundamentals of Disaster Medicine course, paramedic students can earn 15 CEHs.
