Disaster Medicine Institute successfully organized the first in a series of Prehospital Disaster Medicine conferences – “Terrorist Attack and Pandemics: What you must know” on May 16th, 2016 at Mass Boston Conference Center. This was a day-long symposium covering emerging infections like Ebola and Zika, as well as the necessary knowledge required to manage infected patients in the field. The conference also highlighted the prehospital management of asymmetric attack, similar to the Paris Attacks of 2015, and terrorist events.
